The SX EX EMERGENCY EXIT BREAKGLASS is a customised GRP break glass call point and is a member of our unique SX product family, which has been specifically designed for use in hazardous (Ex) environments. The break glass call point works with both our door controller and access products or with third party ACU systems to provide a highly effective solution for access control in Ex classified hazardous areas.
The SX EX EMERGENCY EXIT GLASS is a DPCO type unit manufactured from UV stable glass reinforced polyester and finished in green in accordance with BS 7273-4:2015 Code of Practice for the Operation of Fire Protection Measures – Part 4. The unit is provided as standard with a test key facility and is fitted with a protective stainless steel cover flap designed to prevent accidental activation of the unit. Two spare frangible Break Glass Elements are also included.
