Fail Safe or Fail Secure

Power to Lock/Power to Open are features of the electric strike that will be site dependent.

If the power is removed, Fail Safe will remain unlocked while Fail Secure will remain locked.

All the strikes we stock are field changeable from PTL to PTO and visa-versa, giving you greater options in the field.

Monitoring

Select the strike to suit your site, carefully considering whether you require monitoring.

If you need to monitor door position, and lock status, then select the monitored version of strike.
For door state monitoring, consideration should be given to using a separate reed switch on the door/frame.

Power Supply Units

Correct specification will help ensure fault-free running and ensure the  correct voltage required to run the electric strike… 

Remember to take into account any other products running off the same PSU as these will add to the voltage requirements.
