The 6782EL is a fully field configurable primary electric mortice lock providing significant benefit over previous models. The unique motor driven operation, high security monitoring capabilities and on board door status LEDs provides a significant advancement in the specification, distribution, installation and servicing of electric mortice locks.

  • Variable voltage from 9 – 28VDC
  • Simple in field selection of power to lock (fail secure) or open (fail safe)
  • Full range of monitoring including Request to Exit (REX), Deadlatch, Door position, Key Override Monitoring (KOM) and locked status
  • On board door status LEDs improves installation and reliability
  • Unique functions for reader in / out applications which allows external side to fail securely while internal side fails safe allowing free egress
  • Motor driven providing lower power usage in power to lock applications
  • 3 wire control means the powercan be supplied independent tothe locking control signal makingthe lock less susceptible to issuesassociated with voltage drop across long wiring runs
  • Supplied with short and long forend plates

Reversible for both left and right hand doors, opening in or opening out whilst lock is in door
Separate auxiliary bolt moves into lock case simultaneously with latch bolt
Radius bolt provides greater deadlatch throw and smoother closing action

Cylinder Retaining Pin
Hard-drawn spring steel wire, corrosion protected.

Metal doors: 35 to 50mm
Timber doors: 32 to 50mm
Specify Selector® 3782-TFKIT for timber door fixing kit to convert an aluminium fix lock to timber door fixing. The timber door fixing kit includes a long faceplate, strike and screws to suit a timber door and jamb

Door Clearance
To ensure correct functioning of the deadlatching mechanism and security for all locks, the clearance between the door and the frame should be 3mm.

All Selector® 3782EL Series Cylinder Mortice Locks conform with Level S7 (Physical Security) Australian Lock Standard (AS-4145.2-2008). Conforms to Level S8 (Physical Security) when fitted with door furniture and anti-drill cylinder.

Anti-Corrosion
