SecurEx SX-AC-P10201A Intrinsically Safe Press To Exit
The SX EX REX PUSH BUTTON is a member of our unique SX product family, which has been specifically designed for use in hazardous (Ex) environments. The REX Push Button works with both our door controller and access products or with third-party ACU systems to provide a highly effective solution for access control in Ex classified hazardous areas.
The SX EX REX PUSH BUTTON is manufactured from UV-stable glass-reinforced polyester resin. The switch unit is manufactured in grey GRP with a green request to exit button in accordance with BS 7273-4:2015 Code of Practice for the Operation of Fire Protection Measures – Part 4. The unit is approved for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22 hazardous areas for use in access control and fire and gas alarms. The REX PB is finished with a 316L Stainless Steel Protective Cover with a “Press to Exit” duty label. Pressing the prominent green button of the unit enables both a REX alarm signal to be triggered at the ACU and power to the locking system to be interrupted at the same instant if required.
