Christchurch Prison Extension

The Challenge

To provide high level security for an extension to the Christchurch Men’s Prison. This new build included 20 purpose built high security cells with Airteq automatic sliding door units and also other cells with Chubb mechanical slam action cell locks.

James Bull won the contract with Naylor Love (Main Contractor) to supply and install all hardware which involved interfacing with the access control and CCTV systems and developing and extending to the existing Masterkey system.

The Solution

Working to a tight programme and extended lead times for product from both locally and England and USA, James Bull successfully completed the installation in line with the programme. With our supportive suppliers, response time for delivery is optimal and enables our dynamic teams to be installing on schedule.
